Bongioanni was set up in 1907 as a simple mechanical workshop. Ability, creativity and the intuition of the Bongioanni family, specialising in log cutting machines, contributed to the immediate qualification of the Company.
After the First World War, Bongioanni began concentrating on the specific production of machinery for sawmills and the company dedicated its efforts exclusively to the development of new techniques. During the industrial development in the 1960’s, the Company grew considerably and consolidated its success in the creation of innovative, technologically avant-garde machinery and equipment, not only as products but also as a combination of functionality and practicality. The result of this intuition led to commercial success beyond every possible expectation.
In the 1990’s, universal sawmill machinery was joined by automatic processing lines. Highly flexible machines with increased operating capacities were created, including the Logic series, followed by the Logic 2000, exceptional for processing small and medium-diameter logs.
