This software enables following functions:
- log automatic alignement on the axis or on the external edge
- automatic log diameter measurement by means of photoelectric cells
- automatic canter chipping according to log diameter
- on the first wood passage: cut of a board having a minimum height
pre-set according to log diameter
The software controls following functions:
- carriage variable axis
- canter axis (for sawmills with canter)
The software can process

PRODUCTION STATISTICS
- production monitoring for each shift
- number of sawn logs
- total volume of sawn logs
All these data can be displayed on the monitor of
the ALPHA 98 thickness device located on the log carriage
The system includes:
- electric photocells situated each 30 cm - for log length up to 12 m.
- an upper frame
- a lower frame with compressed air cleaning system included

- volume of each log
- graphic display of each log with cut plan applied
